4+ Years of Construction and Leadership Experience
My name is Michael M. I am a college student at Roger Williams University, graduating this May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a business minor. I chose this career path because I enjoy bringing people’s ideas into something tangible; nothing beats the sense of pride and accomplishment when you bring your customers ideas to life. Prior to joining the Hawks community, I was born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire. From the age of 16, I worked as a laborer and eventually worked my way up to becoming an estimator for a small landscaping company out of South Berwick, Maine. I seek to apply my hard work, dedication, and personability to become a leading project manager in the construction industry. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and (most importantly) dogs.
This is my first project as a project management intern for Consigli Construction Company. This was a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility and office hybrid for New Balance out of Londondonderry, NH. Construction began in November of 2023 and manufacturing is expected to begin in 2025.
Experience
Project Engineer @ Consigli Construction Company / 2025 to Present
As of September 2024 I have accepted a position when I graduate as a project Engineer for Consigli Construction Company.
Project Management Intern @ Consigli Construction Company / 2024 to 2024
As a project management intern I had the opportunity to work in a unique hybrid PM/Superintendent role. This allowed for me to complete tasks such as RFI’s, submittal’s, & meeting-minutes on the PM side. Well also doing daily logs, safety walks, and safety logs on the superintendent side. The project I worked on was during the closeout phase and is the manufacturing facility above.
Landscaping laborer & estimator @ Mainescapes Property Maintenance / 2016 to 2024
During my first five years with this company I was a laborer focused on softscapes such as loaming, hydroseeding, mulching, and maintaining. In my final four years I transitioned into a hardscaping role focusing on patios, walkways, and retaining walls. During this period I also began doing estimates and working as a team leader for crews of roughly 4-6 members.
